Outing with old friends

My friends and I decided to meet up at McDonald. I was the first one to arrive for about half an hour early because I went together with my mom on her way to work. So I had to be early. After what seemed to be a dreary wait, my girl friend (a girl who’s a friend) arrived and joined me for another wait that seemed to be forever. We were waiting for our other friend whose gender was unlikely unidentified… LOL. Kidding^_^ I was just messing around. He’s a guy with a girly side. (When I said girly side, I meant it as gentle, talkative (very) and the list goes on. If this particular person is reading this, I apologize for my disturbing description of you.) Fortunately, I was not alone and we definitely had tons of stuff to talk about since we haven’t met for almost two years.
Then the three of us went to a mall three stations away. We didn’t actually plan on what to do so a movie sounds like a plan to us. Not to miss out would be popcorn. Although I didn’t want to at first but the scrumptious smell that filled the air was irresistible and so forced me get myself one. When the movie ended, we strut  by each floor taking pictures along the way until our feet drag us to a bench begging for a chance to relax… at least mine was.
But my feet got over its tiredness pretty fast and so we continue on our strut. By 4.30pm, we bought our ticket back home and later bid farewell and went our separate ways. But I believe we’ll be meeting again soon enough. It’s just a matter of time. But at the end of the day, I was quite disappointed. I was hoping Mr E could join us but since I didn’t have the gut to ask him to tag along and when I finally asked, he had other plans, he wasn’t included on my outing memory. Too bad… Better luck next time. So, that’s a wrap for today’s entry….

MYSTERY

So what's up with me? Well, not much. At the moment, I'm waiting for my 'L' license. Owh and the last time I went to the Driving Academy, I met with Mr E (try saying it over and over again and it'll sound like MYSTERY...so cool). Here's the deal. I used to have this thing for Mr E. He's intelligent, athletic and he’s a decent guy. But things were never cleared up between us. And at the end, we went our separate ways… When I saw him, I was so happy that I waved at him like an idiot. What can I say, it was an involuntary action. It just happens. I hope he doesn’t take me as an idiot. But don’t get your hopes high folks coz we didn’t talk much. To be exact, we didn’t even have a proper conversation. I was in a rush and so was he. It was just a ‘hi’ and then there’s a ‘bye’…

Other than that, there’s nothing much. I just hang around at home most of the time keeping myself busy…

The New Beginning

It's official. I haven't updated my blog for more than a week. When I started this blog, I was determined to keep posting for at least once a day. Looks like it didn't happen...as far as I can see it. Well, at this moment, I will put that to an end. At least I hope this time it'll last longer than it did last time. A new beginning!

Hello Melacca

By 10 am on the 1st January, my family and I were off to Malacca. A state located about two and a half hours from my hometown. Originally, we wanted to go to Malacca to attend a wedding. But then we decided that we might as well kill two birds with one stone. So we booked a hotel and wandered around the Malacca town. We took some pictures and that was basically all that we did. Then on 2nd January, we went to the wedding ceremony. We knew the parents of the bride/groom (I’m not sure which one) from our Hajj trip in 2009. We also met some other people from the trip. And that’s why my parents love to go to occasions like this because it’s like recalling all the memories from that memorable trip. The meeting was brief but fun enough. And then it was time for us to hit back on the road. Next destination would be my cousin’s house.

She’s getting engaged. There were families, definitely (mine of course) and lots of food. Unfortunately for me, I just ate at the wedding, so there was no room for more food in my stomach… what a waste. After the engagement and everything, it was time for us to head back home. I was totally wiped out by the time we reached home…

Happy New Year!

Time: An hour before new year
Venue: I-City, Shah Alam

The changing of a year is definitely something to celebrate. So that's why my family and I went to I-City where there will be beautiful fireworks. And as we knew that there would be an extreme traffic, we got there quite early. Although I believe there are some others that were a lot earlier than we were. And as expected, the place was packed with tons of people of various ages. I saw young couples, friends of the same gender and different ones. I saw parents with their little kids, grandparents with their family and a whole lot more. People eating, smoking cigarettes, laughing and crying. Well I think the crying part only applies for the babies. It was phenomenal. I had never seen so many people in one place at one time. It was like as if all those people gathering there to show how important is the celebration. Proving how welcoming a whole new year could be so vital. And frankly speaking, I was quite happy I was there to witness it all…

And so as the clock struck midnight, the firework begins. It started off with small sparks and later massive and beautiful ones. It was a 10 minutes of dazzle. I just stood there staring at the sky like I was hypnotized by it. There are actually no words to describe how beautiful the fireworks were. The striking colors were very symbolic to me. It was like the colors represent the happiness of the year we were welcoming, saying that everything would be okay. It was assuring us that this year, 2011 would be a year of success, good health and full of blessings. With a whole new year ahead of us anything is possible… HAPPY NEW YEAR!.
